My portfolio teacher said that i should do a magazine spread on something that would be in a surf/skateboard magazine so that i could have things that are geared more towards the companies i'd be applying to. I think you need to work on the picture, it's so monochromatic and dark that it doesn't really fit the rest of the spread. I'm not sure how much photoshop work you're really used to though, since most of the work I've seen you do has been illustrator and layout stuff.
