Mama said there'd be days like this.

I HATE cleaning my house. Really really hate it. My hubby doesn't like to clean either. So we don't do it much. ( for spew )

I'm sorry they treated you like this. If you ever *do* find someone good, do you mind posting who it is? as, well, G and I are somewhat in the same boat that neither of us LIKE housekeeping as a thing, and if I could find someone reasonable, well, there would be some serious temptation there.

I don't know if it'd be weird for you, hiring someone you know, but for a while Brighida was doing house cleaning, and I don't know if she still is. Unfortunately, I don't have contact info for her handy, other than her LJ is bzzzyb. Lucia would know though...

I'd been thinking about if we got the apt cleaned to a relatively decent standard, we might have a cleaning company come in. Now I don't know that I'll bother.

See, that's part of the point, I DON'T want to have to clean up before the cleaning people get there. That just annoys the crap out of me.

believe me, I know, but really, the amout of sheer *junk* and *mess* I have would scare away pretty much *anyone.*

But I've been to your home and never thought it lacked in the cleaning dept. I just wonder if its more an organizational issue than a cleanliness issue. Of course with your house partially under construction, there's bound to be more dirt, dust and clutter than usual. I hate cleaning personally, but thanks to a cleaning Nazi mother, I"m fairly good at it. I just find it exhausting because of the joint and weight issues I'm having. However, I'd be happy to come by one day for a "plan of attack" session if you like.... the way things are looking on the job horizon, I may have a lot of free time on my hands in the near future. Give me a call or email if you like and we can talk about what you want to do ....
