We lived through it! And we actually had a pretty good time!!

Today was Nate's birthday party. We had a fun'n'games party in Homestead park, with about 10 or 12 kids, about one parent each (there were a few siblings, too), and 8 or 10 grownups and relatives of Nate's. We started with Pin the Tail on the Donkey, and then the kids went to play on the playground and/or the soccer field while we set up the food

He's fine, really. He was extremely tense in the days leading up to the party, and he was very worried about how well it would go. And although he can tell when we're teasing him, he doesn't know yet enough about telling when other people are teasing him.
