I can't be there because I'm staying home to help Steve with his lunch.

... I hear ya about being fine with missing award ceremonies, though. They're like Court, right? No matter how proud one is, they do go Ever On and On, and afterward one is forced to chat politely with people one doesn't know or want to know.
It's a very blustery day here in Sequim - slapping rain coming in sideways - so I'm guessing it's just as blustery if not more so in Hadlock: an excellent day to stick close to the hearth. Hello to Steve!
