I'm guessing you have encountered one of Livejournal's wonderful new post-eating auto-edit apps. My condolences; I've been fighting it out with the bastards too, and they do *so* bite.

The chick is Ginger, a four week old buff orpington. SUPER friendly! One of 13 chickens we got... um.... four weeks ago. :)
