I'm glad that you read the ingredients and know what everything is that you should not be eating. Are you able to spend the extra money and buy real crab meat?

I opted for the batter-dipped cod fillets instead. Cheaper, and everyone will eat it, not just me. :-)

We used to get imitation crab California Rolls from time to time... but they just lost their appeal. And real crab can be so pricey. ...but now you've got me thinking about making rice balls for lunch. Perhaps some tuna instead?

I think I was just in the mood for something fishy. I love tuna, but there's something about the texture of crab that I adore. Oh well...

Don't be fooled by substitutes or cheap knockoffs...use real imitation crab! ;-)

What's even scarier than this is the rise of "flavor technology". With just a few drops of chemicals, watermelons can be made to taste like hamburgers and vice versa.

I appreciate the benefits that chemistry has brought into our modern lives but I have to wonder if we haven't gone just a little bit too far. Too bad we all couldn't just slip off into a nicer, less chemically-enhanced environment...while sending our robot doppelgangers off to enjoy the chemicals!
