Getting out

This weekend, we drug one of my friends from school up to Duluth with the family. Once there, we met up with another friend and spent Saturday doing various activities around the North Shore. At first glance, I really thought you surreptitouisly gave drugs to one of your friends. An odd use of grammar. Local usage perhaps?

Interesting. I just looked it up, and it appears to be a dialect thing. It should have been dragged, but I guess where I live, drug is accepted as the simple past tense for the word. (In fact, no one has mentioned this to me before and I've used it a lot, so I didn't even realize that it wasn't "proper" English.)
