I've mentioned a zillion a few times how I was told I "wasn't good at math" when I was in elementary school

I was the exact opposite. I didn't do as well in Geometry, but in Algebra I excelled. I think that's why I didn't find Chemistry all that hard either. I wanted cold, hard numbers in front of me to work through. All the proofs just didn't make sense in my head.

I absolutely hated math until I hit calculus in 11th grade. Then the love afair began. :)
