I read Happiest Days of Our Lives by Wil Wheaton, the autographed (to me!) copy that my friend brought back from Comic Con. In addition to it being a short book, I can't do much work since I'm supposed to keep my foot elevated as much as possible so I have time on my hands ( Read more... )

It is kind of a brain bake that someone I watched on TV when I was kid (as he was a kid at the time too) is actually now an adult, my age with a family of his own.

I think you should totally post to his blog what your wee one said. Wil would probably get a kick out of it :-)

I sent it. Hopefully it'll give him a bit of amusement as well.

Actually, it freaked me out to read the People's magazine on "child stars" and realize that almost all of them are about my age and have kids...although most of them are somewhere in between the older and younger one.

I felt pretty old for a while there. :-)

Yep! It's been the talk of the town (or at least my family and friends) for the past few days.

When my older son told the little guy he was famous, he said, "No! I'm not!" like he was being taunted.
