Oh gosh. I felt so bad for the kid. He kept saying the bird wanted to talk to him. When I said we shouldn't touch dead birds, he went on about what happened to it.
I think he said the bird was boomed by the thunder and it fell. He said he caught it, and he stopped it from being dead. He was very animated and happy. I think he honestly thought he could fix the bird.
Poor kid. :-/ Fortunately, he didn't remember about it when he got home tonight. I don't think I could have handled him crying about the bird.
