So I just read this story in Scientific American, and I'm a bit wierded out. If you can be genetically male but develop a female body, is there any way to tell aside from genetic testing? And aside for the increased likelihood of ovarian cancer, is there any significance or is this just something else to make people freak?

Sex and gender are a LOT more complex than most people imagine... it makes me SO happy that it is starting to get press/ more research and not just from a "freak" angle, too :D

I think it's very cool, too.

But it does make me wonder...was I supposed to really be a boy? I wonder what my dad would think? (He wanted a boy SO bad...and got three girls instead.)
