I love this show, I'm sure everyone is aware of that by now. I love most episodes, occasionally dislike one or other. And sometimes I'm impressed. This episode really impressed me. Because it's finally fully convinced me of all the things S3 is trying to do. It made me see Keats as menacing and not just ridiculous, it made me want to rewatch Life ( Read more... )

SCARY MONSTERS AND SUPER CREEPS INDEED. I've said it before and will do so again, David Bowie will solve all ~mysteries~.

That scene with Keats playing cards (Paciência? LOLZ, não sei se vocês chamam disso aí) by himself is SO CREEPY. AND THE BATTLE'S JUST BEGUN (for souls, natch), GUISE. Handbags at dawn!

What's with the "I wanna float amongst the stars" and "The thing you gotta know about me, Jimbo... I float." motif going around this ep, I wonder. All over the ship, I MEAN, shop, heh *goes loopy*

Speaking of the queen! (Yes Gene is tots Lizzie 2, yup, or perhaps Prince Phil(l)ip, hah okay, enough with the puns) I had NO IDEA that ER, as seen both on the tin box and a police officer's hat, stood for Elizabetha Regina, wtf. I was def. intrigued, especially after this ep, lol.

Okay, seriously people, it is very possible that I am indeed going insane and seeing things but is it just me or does the camera shakeUnless I am also going insane ( ... )

I don't think so, I think they also agreed on Gene barging in and being all "Police Brutality!" and Alex all "You're rotten just get out!" so that Thordy would really believe Alex was on his side, thus giving her more credibility when she let him out. Just look at all the little looks between Alex and Gene. Totally orchestrated.I did notice the look Gene gives Alex and I can accept that him barging in could have been planned but I think that, even if it was, Gene went a lot further than she wanted him to and I believe the "You're rotten" thing was genuine disgust on Alex's part. ...All right, I give in. I've started watching from the beginning of series 3 on the iPlayer and I've bumped series 2 to the top of my lovefilm.com queue so I can catch up on everything before the finale. See what you've made me do?!

Actually it was this episode that made me do it. Really, really enjoyed it and it reminded me of what I loved about LoM, with all the drama and the intrigue and beautiful shots and not quite understanding what's going on and loving it anyway. :D And how could anyone not fall for Keeley in this one? Look at that wibble face!

Viv's death scene just about killed me, with first the tears then the 'ohmygod, what is Keats doing?!'

So yeah. If I fail to meet my word count target in the next two weeks, I'm so blaming you. :D

Yaaaaaaay! :DDD I seee and I'm very happy! :D Series 2 has some problems but it's all worth it! A2A ♥♥♥♥

Seriously, it's definitely one of the best ever of both series, it's just so powerful and so full of THINGS, SIGNIFICANT THINGS! SO chilling, heartbreaking, tense AND JUST GENERALLY AWESOME! Awww, I know!! Keeley's wibble has me crying in a heartbeat. :'(

Eeeeesh yes! The gurgling and the terrified looks and KEATS BEING AWFUL. Oh God, why so awesome / heartbreaking, show?

IT WAS INCREDIBLE. I was so fucking impressed, and it made me want to re-watch LOM, too. Keats is a fucking creep, but he's actually growing on me, and this Thordy fella was interesting. And "The Cutter"! BEAUTIFUL. Honestly, I have to re-watch this ep, I was so overwhelmed with everything, gah! I'm so excited for the end, but dreading it at the same time :(

OH MY GOD WASN'T IT? (Love your icon btw!) It made me want to watch some LoM much more than any "stylish, seductive" Sam sequence could, I watched an ep last night. ;) Keats has just stopped making me laugh and is now making me rage, I don't think warming up to him is in the cards for me. The Thordy fella made me go all asdlkdfçlkfdlçkdflçsdfkdsçlf!!!!! haha. "The Cutter"!!!! Mummy Alex, awww ♥ I had to watch, like, three times before I actually understood everything, ha. (I'M REALLY NOT DIM, PROMISE.) I knooow, me too! I'm dreading it because it's the end AND I DON'T WANT IT TO END and because I'm a little nervous again regarding what they're going to do with it. Haha, he is rather annoying, I have to admit! And his face is simply irritating, I don't know why - Never has anyone NOT SUITED their glasses so much. And seriously, I need to watch EVERYTHING again. I never get any of the symbolism, references, etc!
