Interesting to see Jasons side of this story. After the soft shell crabs he vanished never to return.
I never really warmed to that scene though. Maybe it seems because there was a lot if background missing.
Nicely done.

The whole Jason-story was weird. I know that Eric Winter was supposed to star in another series and therefore wasn't available for B&S. And they wanted Luke Macfarlane back. Apparently it was agreed that K/S would be in a steady relationship by the end of season 2 - not sure if being married was also scheduled ( ... )

I must say that i often have to stop and think if something i remember is from the tv show or conjured visually in my head from your stories. (Ive read everything youve posted on LJ).

So i dont really miss jason. Hes alive, well and as you say evil in your world.
That said, i was glad to see him gone from kevins side. I always felt uncomfortable watching them. There wasnt the chemistry.
I think though that Kevin with Scotty or Chad for that matter had me invested.

It cant be easy when real life gets in the way and the actors move on etc but you are right it was weird how quick the charcter no longer had any interaction. At all. Even later when robert was dying.
Is that the fault of the multiple writers set up maybe? Where they arent as knowledgable about long gone episodes and characters as the fans.

Anyway i go back to your stories more than i go back to the box set.

Nice to read Jason's feelings about this.

I wasn't a fan of the Kevin/Jason storyline because for me it was Kevin & Scotty from the beginning. So I was very happy when Scotty came back in Kevin's life and Kevin breaking up with Jason was the icing on the cake ;) I didn't want a love triangle.

Yes, I was team Scotty from the start as well. I liked Chad enough, but I didn't really warm up to Jason. And then his character as all over the place in the episodes 2.01 to 2.11, he made no sense. Still think that Eric did a good job redeeming him, but, out of Scotty, Chad and Jason, I felt the least for Jason.
