Summary: looking for Kevin he runs into Julia looking for Tommy

Scotty is frustrated. Where the hell is Kevin? He asked Sarah, Nora, even Rebecca, who was looking for Justin, if they had seen Kevin, but the answer was negative. He feels a tug at his arm and looks around.
“Have you seen Tommy anywhere?” Julia asks. Scotty shakes his head.
“No. And I seem to have lost Kevin.”
“Maybe they are together… Up to no good.” Julia smiles. “You know what? I’ll check the parking-lot to see it his car is still there.”
Not knowing what else to do Scotty goes with her. But Kevin’s car is still there, as is Tommy’s.
“You know what, I’m going to give up.” Julia says. “I’m tired and hungry and thirsty.”
Scotty tells her to stay where she is. She sits down and a few minutes later Scotty returns with a tray with two glasses of wine and some hors d’oeuvres. Like a perfect waiter he offers it to her with a bow and she’s all smiles, because she sees he’s just clowning around a bit.
“How did you get these so quickly?” She asks.
“I am a cater-waiter, I know what happens ‘behind the scenes’.” His entire face displays his amusement and with a smile around her lips Julia gratefully starts to eat.
“I don’t get it. How could I have lost my husband like that.” Julia wonders taking a sip of wine.
“I have looked everywhere. The party is big, but not that big that no one has seen Kevin all this time.” Scotty answers concerned.
“You didn’t ask the McCallisters, did you? They’d happily send you in the wrong direction. Some of them are extremely upset about Kevin and Jason.” She warns Scotty, but Scotty shakes his head.
“I noticed, but in all honesty, they are rude to Kevin, but not really to me. To me, they are polite. Not that it really matters, I couldn’t care less what the McCallisters think of me. What does worry me however, is that Kevin and I had … words… about this… you know, whole Jason and other McCallisters affair…”
“Don’t let them get to you, Scotty. Kevin is hurt, I know a few of the Walkers, like Sarah and Nora are trying their best not to pick fight about what happened between Jason and Kevin. Not on Kitty’s wedding day. Please, don’t let the McCallister create problems between Kevin and you.”
“It’s so hard. Sometimes I feel that all of them, McCallisters and Walkers, look at Jason and then at me and they don’t find me good enough for Kevin…” He sighs. Julia puts her hand on his.
“Scotty, Jason has his qualities, his strengths, but also his weaknesses and faults. And so do you. And Kevin is not perfect either. But in the end what matters is Kevin’s love for you and, make no mistake, he loves you,…. he won’t admit it, but we can see it. So hold your head up high. You have nothing to be ashamed about. Kevin chose you….” She smiles. “Shall we go look for our partners again?” Scotty nods, but as he follows Julia through the crowd, he can’t help but worry. For the Julia may not doubt Kevin’s love for him, he does.
