Poor Scotty having to worry about what his mother may think. She really was happy though. I've got no sympathies for this woman. Not after the way she treated him and Kevin. But I am glad that she was happy for the BOTH of them and that this could lead to better things for their relationship.

I loved this.

Mhmm, I think that Bertha is an interesting character, even though I don't like her much. Personally, I think I'd be suspicious.... but maybe I shouldn't compare her to MY mother-in-law. ;) ;D

Aww, poor Scotty being so nervous but I'm glad the conversation went okay. Maybe now they can rebuild their relationship. Beautiful story.

Thank you, I do hope that we will see Bertha get to be less cold towards the boys. She doesn't have to make an about-turn and suddenly be completely supportive (that would be weird) be nicer might be ... nice. ;)

Poor Scotty. I can feel his pain. He´re right: It shouldn’t be so hard.
But I dont like Bertha. I love your fic but I can´t see her totally in the end. I don´t know way but something just doesn´t fix in me.

I have to say I have mixed feelings about this. I'd like her to be happy for Scotty, but there's a nagging doubt in me. :)

Thank you for your comment! :) I could imagine Scotty being worried to call his mother. Though we've only seen her twice, she's not exactly depicted as the warmest person. Glad you found it believable. :)

Poor Scotty :( It was heartbreaking to see him fearing to be rejected by his mother. And I'm glad Bertha is willing to be a part of Scotty/Kevin family.

I'd like nothing more than for Bertha become involved in Scotty's life more positively, but that maybe comes from my liking the actress, more than from my liking Bertha. :)
