Sometimes you’ve just had enough.

Alright , I bit of wishful thinking on my part, but would it kill the writers to just ONCE include a scene like this?

Sometimes you’ve just had enough.

Summary: you read the title, right?

“… and sometimes you’ve just had enough, I understand.” Jordan sympathizes with Scotty. Scotty presses his phone between his ear and his shoulder as he stirs the sauce.
“So, I’m not really a total heartless bitch for getting angry to know that Kevin is once again going to cancel on our dinner?”

“No, ‘course not, sweetie. I know I’d be mad….”
“Even though there might be another crises…?”
“Hon, that family is always in crises. I totally respect that Kevin wants to be there for his family, but, … helllllo, you’re his husband. You deserve some his TLC too...”

“I know, but … Nora called… and there was such panic in her voice and… I feel so selfish for expecting Kevin to be here, when his mother needs him.”
“I know you love Nora, but you’re married…. To Kevin. Not the Walkers in general. Sometimes one needs to be selfish.” Jordan lectures.

That is when Scotty hears the key in the lock.
“I think that is Kevin coming home?” He says surprised, for he had not expected Kevin here.
“You think....?”
“Either it’s Kevin or a burglar ..” Scotty jokes.

“Well, find out.. If it’s a burglar call the police, if it’s Kevin drag him to bedroom, tie him to the bed and silence him, so he can’t explain why he needs to be with his family.”
“You have a dirty mind.”
“...And you love my suggestion.”

“It has it advantages, I agree.…. It’s Kevin… Bye…” Scotty quickly puts his phone away and pretends to be stirring the sauce.
“Hi, love.” Kevin kisses him quickly.
“I hope you’re hungry.” Scotty says giving Kevin a lead to say he can’t stay for dinner.

“Good, I’m starving.” He takes Scotty in his arms for a proper kiss, which surprises Scotty to ask:
“You’re staying?”
“We would have dinner tonight, right? You were counting on me?”

“Yeah, I did, but your mom called… She needed you.”
“I know, but I told her, that this was my only evening off with you this week and I wasn’t going to waste solving any of hers or Sarah’s or Kitty’s or Justin’s crises. For once, she needs to call someone else.… Sometimes you’ve just had enough, you know?...”

THE END
