I have to say that I agree. Shortly after 9/11, those that said "We need to look at our policies and see what we can do to prevent the spread of the hatred that spawns this kind of activity..." were shouted down as siding with THEM. But hey, now terrorism is back on the front burner, instead of world poverty... *boggled*

One would think that when a culture is being attacked from both the inside and out, that the decision-makers would take just a moment to ask "What are we doing wrong?"
