The last two weeks at my school job have totally kicked my ass. I've been so tired and worn out by the end of each day.  Then I get to come home and work on paperwork on my computer for the program.  It's a lot of the beginning of the year set up, emergency contact forms, one for each child, then a sheet of information for each group-to keep on ( Read more... )

books, school work

Thanks So much.

I'm looking forward to the wedding, though I'm a little nervous. I think it's so cute that her daughter gets to carry a boquet. Times have changed haven't they? I remember when I was engaged and trying to lose weight for the wedding (which I didn't need to, my mom wanted me to) I became pregnant instead and it was all about trying to hide the pregnancy (my mom again). Now no one cares. And the baby-girl gets to take part! I love it.

We all had a great time! Lots of dancing, more dancing, and then we danced!

I took a close look at your icon and just started laughing. Is that from a real event? Hope the elephant was having fun, I know I have fund jumping on the bed with my grandkids. I have to be careful, because I weigh way more than them and take a chance of breaking the bed everytime I do it. For some reason, the thought of breaking the bed doesn't stop me. I can't afford a new one, but I just keep acting up. Pisses my husband off a little. :)

Brilliant that your daughter had a lovely wedding day, and you all enjoyed yourselves - it sounds beautiful with your granddaughter carrying the flowers.

I don't know if the elephant is really trampolining - I fell in love with him, and someone else on my f-list very kindly let me steal him LOL! Hope your bed survives the fun with your grandkids :-)

Books everywhere!

I'm glad things are going well, even if they are tiring. :)

And have fun at the wedding. That sounds like a great time ^^

have you ever read anything by Ann Aguirre? She's one of the few writers that I can stand slightly angsty characters from. Probably because her characters don't get rediculously angsty, and they deal. She has a space ship/future series and a contemporary paranormal series.

I'm going to have lot's of fun, there's going to be DANCING! My mom and my dad will both be there with theire respective spouse/significant others, and a lot of my scattered family.

I haven't actually. I'll have to look into her.

I hope you danced and danced and danced.

I danced my ass off. and me hip, and my feet, and my legs....and my arms, from holding grandchildren and dancing. I was in an extreme amount of pain the next day, but I would still do it again, because even though it's harder for me to dance now, I don't care- I just get out there and dance. When the latin music comes on I can't stop...til I'm drooping and can't breathe. It's so much fun!
