Unsettling

So I was trawling the intarwubs in my usual artfag style, and I found an interview with the actress Rhianna Shakur which... well...

See for yourself.

Warning for content: it talks about suicide, so don't read it if you think you might be upset by that. Beneath the cut, my own thoughts on the piece.

(Thanks to oxfordgirl and cassies_file both for referring me to the piece).

*places large box behind oxfordgirl and extends leg to trip her up*

Ha! When you are being made an ARTSLAVE in Durham you will no longer be able to tempt my chewtoy boyfriend into being in your house all the time so that you can weaken his defenses until he engages in BOYKISSING. Bwahaha!

(v. professional looking! I liked it!)

I loved lots of things about this:

Not realising until I saw the word "Tritoni" what exactly the article was about.
The sidebar adverts. The details, and especially the plug for Empire in Black and Gold.
The phrase "post-mortal", and the way it worked into the theme of the piece so well.

Also, the Teacherite boycotting of her films amused me greatly. :)

God, you rock so hard! That is just.... glorious. Love the metaness. The formatting looks pretty damn perfect; and I absolutely love the implied politics.

You are just too damn awesome.
