Tiny flies? Wind pollination? Even rodents and birds can be pollinators, though.

I saw a moth and a fly in Copiapo after I wrote this. There are definitely bugs there. Just not here.
Although I was looking at some photos and there are lizards here at site. Most intriguing. I should have asked the EIA people when they were in camp.
