I think I believe Randy. Justin already proved he was scheming the entire time. The confrontation was almost like talking except without the rational part. I love how when Al called out to her dad they both turned to her. It might be a coincidence, but I'd like to think not.

Yep, that was deliberate on my part, but not on John's. He didn't even know he did it, it just happened. Inside him, he WANTS to be that to Alanna too, but he's afraid he'll be a mess at it, so he uses Sam as an excuse to not do what he really wants to. LOL WOW CHARACTER DEPTH WHO KNEW.
