You don't have to floral DIP you can floral SPRAY. Put the solution you normally dip your flowers with into a spray bottle and just squirt it on. Things don't get everywhere and you aim for the flowers instead of dripping things all over and into the soil. You also need less bacteria to do the same job as a big batch.

I understand you perfectly, Jesus had to prepare cells for days in order to infect them with rotavirus.

Also, my caco-2 cells last 4 days in growing and making a monolayer, after that, they last 21 days on diferenciation and after that the permeability assay last no more than 2 hours... taking care of them for weeks and the assay lastes 120 minutes!!
The same story for MDCK-II cells, 4 days growing, 3 days diferenciating and a simple assay of 2 hours.

Mammal cells are known by their "handle with tweezers, cradle them, sing to them and tell them how beautiful they are" mood...
