Aww, good to hear from you.

Also, that title is awesome. Good way to describe it.

Students can sometimes make things worthwhile! I love some of the creative things they say to describe stuff. One kid kept trying to say that leukemia was white red ball sick (or something like that) because it is white blood sick in Japanese (白血病).

I just saw your posts about the Hey Say Jump shows. Sounds like you girls had fun! ...... I'm so behind with LJ and stuff.

Lol. Yeah. I have students who are like "...can I use my dictionary?" And I refuse to let them until they at least try to explain. It's good practice and a good lesson, because usually they can figure out a way and I understand them. On the rare occasions that they really can't come up with anything at all, then the dictionary is a last resort.

And Hey! Say! 7, actually. JUMP is in two weeks in Osaka. XD But yes, it was fun! :D

Ahhh..... Hey! Say! 7. I see. I'm glad it was fun either way. :)

My kids don't usually have a dictionary. They make me be a dictionary which isn't always the best thing because I don't always know. They ask me some of the most random stuff and I'm like "how the fuck should I know?" But if I can remember then I can learn new stuff.

Sounds like you've been well occupied since we last chatted! Your students seem to be really fond of you too. How far did you have to go by taxi? I guess it beats finding a hotel in a town you are not familiar with. Would love to see some pics when you have time. xxx

It was about a 40 minute taxi ride. The hotel would have been cheaper, had I been able to find it and they hadn't jacked the rate up because it was so late, etc., etc., My taxi driver was really cool though, and I was able to get a lot done the next morning after having had a full night's sleep.

I *think* my students like me. haha On graduation day a bunch wanted pictures. At the elementary one I got to meet a lot of nice parents too, which was cool. I don't usually see the parents, but most know me. That makes for strange times, like when some random woman is calling out my name and I have no clue who she is. lol

Hey, it's so good to hear from you again! Every now and then, I thought of you and wondered how you were doing. Your students really are adorable (at least some of them). You don't sound all that happy though, I feel. I hope you have a nice, relaxing spring vacation, wherever you're going!

I wonder about you too, I just don't like checking LJ all that often. I'm not as happy as I would like to be, but I'm not sad all the time. I'm a bit resigned I guess.

Even most of my bad students aren't too bad. There are a few that I would like to tell off or whatever, but the remaining 90% are good (especially since I am not counting the bad school teehee).

Ahh, it's good to hear your school stories again! :] Must be nice to be popular! ;D

I saw you haven't been checking LJ much lately, so in case you missed my exciting news - I'm buying a house! :O

I have too many school stories. It's insane the stuff that happens there! It's strange to be so popular because I wasn't when I was that age (well, for a little while I was because I was the new girl, but that died down).

Congrats on the house!! That's exciting! And so adult-like. It's strange to think of my friends being adults. I feel old. haha

Buying the house is part exciting and part terrifying, haha! I don't feel like a grown-up, lol, I still feel like an imposter - but that's alright with me, I just do things the only way I can see how! So if you ever fancy an English vacation... ;)

I feel like an impostor grown-up too. Especially when I am with my students.

One of these days I will make it over there to see the sights. I have been wanting to go for a while, but other things *coughcough* get in the way.
