Friday was Open Mic night at the Flying Monkey. I surprised myself by sharing two of my own. trampoline_girl stepped it up a notch and read her stories. Funny stuff. allenb was no "Stranger" again. And hopefully mycerius will share a little of his stuff at the next open Mic Night. And I can not forget Chess-Checkers or riding the scooters. Weee!Wee! Game on Tina.(hehe ( Read more... )

Hooray for road trips! But no road trip is complete unless you get lost. Speaking of getting lost, 3dnerd got lost in Hollywood today and I had to get on the net and talk him back to the interstate.

And Friday was definitely fun. Nice to do something completely different. Think next time we can't think of anywhere to go, we should just hang out at the Burning Nun.

Road trip sounds really cool! I like B'ham. The last time I was there, (Sidewalk Film Fest) I couldn't get over how friendly people were ... but then again, these were the artsy folks.

Oh, good ole chess-checkers. Now that's a game. I am definitely looking forwad to the next poetry night but still not sure if I will read anything.
