Honestly, there wasn't one thing. We were in Chapters a few days ago, and in that entire three floor bookstore, there was one shelf with half a dozen books with any queer content in them at all, and we had to circle the store twice to even FIND it, crammed on a shelf labeled "Lifestyle", surrounded by Women's Lit and Black Studies books. And it pissed me off. And in my trolling through the internetz yesterday I came across multiple references to the same thing, and it just hit me. And then the more I thought about it the more pissed off I was getting.

I'm going to go re-watch that crying mayor video now, to see a little glimmer of hope for the world.

I just recently went through the whole, "Bisexuality is a phase" thing with someone again. It gets to a point where I just don't want to say anything anymore.

TECHNICALLY this island qualifies! It's an island, it's 'middle of nowhere'ish, it has internets in places, and lots of The Lesbians... yes. You may escape to my island. I will allow it.
