DNS hijacking?

It seems the secondary DNS for my domain isn't controlled by the same person any more, so if you're trying to get to my webpage(s), send me email, or ssh to my machine it might not be working sometimes (depending on whether it gets answered by the main server, or the secondary). I'm working on a workaround... sorry for any inconvenience in the mean ( Read more... )

Thanks, but it's OK (for now, at least). I think it's still owned by the company that were supposed to renew it, so it looks like just a regular corporate screwup. I'll bear your offer in mind if an annoyed phonecall or two don't sort it out though:)

It's OK now. Clicknames/Bulkregister seem to have sorted out where they dropped the ball between them & picked it back up - so ninecats.org is properly registered to us again :) All our email & web stuff should be working again soon, as will the secondary nameserver for other poeple's domains (like your own before you changed it) :)
