Good Lord! This was so very unexpectedly depressing! It's been years (possibly verging on decades) since I've seen the 1939 Oz movie, and I'm not familiar with Wicked, so the setting took some time to get used to, but I liked how this story was woven together. My heart positively broke for poor, lonely Sirius. Please give him a million hugs from me.

Thank you! I honestly never expected it to be depressing as I was writing it, but it rather was, I suppose. Poor Sirius. I do like making him the object of hurt/comfort!

Thanks for reading and commenting.

Hehe, this was a fun ride. I especially loved a lot of the little throwaway lines, like the creepily attractive Centaur chests and less singing more cock sucking bits. ;)

And I totally forgot to mention the artwork. It was fabulous! Sirius is delightful even when he's green.

"It's not easy being green" is a Kermit the Frog quote, yes? :)

omg, I love that song. YAY KERMIT! I'll admit, I finished the second one, with James, and then sat staring at it for 10 minutes, only to finally realize, I hadn't made Sirius green.

:-O

But then I fixed it. XD

And I still adore this story. Possibly it's my addiction to Wicked, but it's just so fun the way the two worlds are strung together, and the madness that is Sirius' dream, and possibly Remus running around acting suave and princely XD

Or James... In pink... that too, I'll admit, I want to make an icon of that XD

This had me giggling all the way through. Too much good stuff to quote it all but - Frankly, if they had less singing and more cock-sucking, they wouldn’t be half-bad. and
“Minerva, you’re no longer a goat!” cried Sirius, before he could stop himself. “Very observant, Mr. Black,” said McGonagall drily. Turning to James she added, “However, since there now appears to be some lasting damage, let’s make that four weeks,” made me stop reading because I was in fits!

I was so sad for Sirius when Remus and James were together, particularly at the dance, and loved the insecurity he felt with his green skin. James was hysterical with his blonde hair and singing and 'Black is the new pink'.

Fantastic!

And the art is GORGEOUS! I love the horror in Sirius' face in the first piece where he sees himself for the first time, but I have to admit that the art of Remus and SIrius on the broomstick made me melt into a little puddle. It's all so beautiful.

Well done everyone! A wonderful start to the Big Bang!

Thank you so much. I was nervous about sending the piece in. I feel like it's not as good as I wanted... I'm so happy people like it though!

Thank you! I was totally afraid that this would have appeal ONLY to those who were familiar with Wicked or Oz, but I'm glad it worked.

And I have to admit that it was wicked fun to write.

This. Is. AWESOME!!!!! All three of you did a fabulous job! The art was a great complement to the story! It was really fun to get to see him being green. :D
Brighty, I heart this so hard! I was totally singing he songs in my head, teehee. I always enjoy how your stories all intertwined with each other through tiny details. (UNCLES! WOO!) And the part about how Sirius was enjoying being a fugitive on the run made me sad pandas inside. I'm glad you also had some of the small book details that the musical leaves out, Remus with the tattoo's is a nice mental image. :)

THANK YOU! You know, I thought about how Elphaba (like Sirius) was a fugutive for being a good person and essentially doing nothing and that's what really became the catalyst for this. (Well, that and the song "Popular." LOL) Siriusly, though, the more I thought about Sirius and Elphaba, the more I became convinced they had a lot in common: hated by their families, feeling like an outcast, being a fugitive, and believing in something (right) that others did not.

And thanks for picking-up on the tatt thing. That was one of the most intriguing things about his character in the book, I thought.

Ok, so Dancing Through Life came on my ipod and all I can think about is Remus.

Thank you for that because it's AWESOME! :D:D
