Wait..the bible.. on audio...omg that is brilliant. Did you get it for free or did you have to pay for it? And if it was free please share xD
Abraham is crazy but actually AWESOME. I am/was very amused at how he haggles with God. Oh Avram <3
(well he was awesome until he was a pussy but that was controversial, but I like to see the Isaac thing as Abraham *failing* God as opposed to "passing" the test... many thoughts on that >_> Lolz Bible <3)

Marquez is awesome and though I haven't read 100 years, I read some of his other stuff and I liked it, but I liked Midnight's Children *better* ahahahhahaa. Sorry. I loves it so much that I actually bothered to work really hard an dwrite an awesome paper when any piece of crap would have been acceptable. And and, the religious over and undertones are everywheeerrrees <3 ...I still havent read Satanic Verses T_T ..i mean, it must be awesome if it made the religious orthodoxy want him dead. Mwee <3

As for Anne of Green Gables, *most* people (like 99% >_>) only read the first one. I ( ... )

The Bible does come in the free audio kind. I think My mom has a cd from people that can be burned. My version is actually full text new standard american translation. I haven't gotten to Isaac yet, I'm up to the part where he goes to Egypt and is like 'crap they are going to kill me' so he makes his wife pretend to be his sister and lets the pharoh 'have her' (I assume there is sex and/or rape) and then there's plagues in Egypt and Pharoh's like 'Dude, you lied, get out of here, I was gonna marry her, but now god's all angry damnit.' I thought that whole thing was pretty fucked up. I raised an eyebrow at Abraham...

I will read Midnight's children! After I finish the awesomeness of Omnivore's Dilemma. Its a mind fuck.... for me anyway.Anyway, I love Magical Realism.

I was all about Xena really. Anne didn't kill anyone, but she was still awesome.

Why are you studying???

Hmm... not sure how I feel about that. My favorite bibles are the oxford study edition and the king james (mostly because that was the one that sort of influenced the course of English Lit kyaaaa <3). It's bizarre to see where the Bibles differ -- though honestly, the truest ones are the "anchor" ones, I suppose, but there's something about king james? lol anglophilia xD But then again, any Bible is good -- for awhile I was using one of those pocket ones i got from street religious ppl to read the New Testament on the train xD
(PS I am beyond amused at the way the oxford study edition suggestively makes it look like the judeo christian god was born of the pagan ones/showed up in their midst -- AHHAHA CONTINUITY <3 ( ... )

And and and all the students like him, and and i spoke to Akiko-sensei and apparently hes also a really nice person except he's really strict, but hes really strict himself also so its okay? T___T
I LOVE REALLY DEMANDING YET VERY FAIR PEOPLE. that are TEACHERS xD

I WILL LEND YOU DRACULA (after I finish lending it to my other friend who's borrowing it right now XD). It's so good oh man.

Watership down was okay. It's one of those books I've reread like twenty times just because I get really bored when I'm at my parent's house and it's right there on the bookshelf next to my bed...

The Bible audio reminds me randomly that I'm starting to finally take my Confirmation classes O_o there's a lot I didn't know. It's interesting, although I don't always agree. YAY RELIGION

Do you actually own any of the books on that list? Maybe we can do a book trade XD
