Strange day.

I am torn between "squeeeeeee, weekly James on my screen" and "Oh my God, Smallville? Noooooo, kill me now"

Don't know if I am horrified or happy.

I think I am in still in shock.

This could be very entertaining (if he plays a character like Zod), I admit. But Smallville?

Most of us watched Buffy because of James. I know I did, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. The same thing will happen here.

Yes, absolutely. As much as I was disappointed at first, now I feel much better. I can't wait to see him on the screen actually.

It would also allow him to audition for other roles in pilot season and yet still be employed so from his perspective, it'd be a positive.

Yep. It's a recurring role, so he will be free to pursue other projects. The more I think about it, the more I am convinced it's a smart move for him.

The one thought that makes it all worthwhile is that he'll be playing a professor; so maybe, just maybe, there will be sexy glasses.
