So, having nearly finished working my way through the Sherlock Holmes canon, I've started watching the Granada series. Only three episodes in, what do I come across in 'The Naval Treaty'?
Eeeee, that one. Gareth is always of the good and is wonderfully dodgy in that one. He's always great at doing characters who are hiding something dangerous behind their eyes, I feel. And/or guys who are seemingly calm on the outside but you can tell there's a storm brewing up inside and it makes your hair stand on end. *sigh* I love him so. *noms both him and Brett*
He is always quite good like that, isn't he? I'd read 'The Naval Treaty' quite recently, so obviously I knew what his character was up to, but that made it even more fun to watch him.
*squeals* Jeremy Breeeeett! I only discovered those this year and they were AWESOME AND WONDERFUL and I want my own copies. And hee, Watson's little smile! Oh, it's all a bit wonderful.
Oh man, he is pretty much perfect as Holmes, isn't he? I'm only a few eps in, but that much is clear pretty much straight away. (Also his VOICE, oh my god, his voice.)
