Yep, it's Stephen Fry going back with Mark Carwardine and revisiting the places and animals that Carwardine and Douglas Adams went to see, 20 years on. It's a wonderful documentary, although, again, sometimes thoroughly depressing. :\

Oooh, what was it like? I was quite disappointed not to have been stuck. :\ Did you notice the subliminals before the video started? I don't know at what point in the episode they started, but I saw flashes of them a few times. Still no effect on me, though. :\

I didn't notice the subliminals, except for once I saw a flash of something, but wibbble did - he didn't get stuck at all. Apparently there was one before the final ad break and one afterward.

It was just pretty much as Derren said, it just felt like my feet were locked to the floor and my back was glued to the sofa. I could move my hands around, though. I was aware of what was happening - why it was occurring - so when I wanted to get up, I just got up, before he played the clearing tone. There was a sort of exploration of an internal conflict - I could struggle to get up all I wanted for a while, but I didn't really want to get up - so all I had to do was really want to get up ( ... )

MERLIN! :D

*cackles* I hadn't seen Derren Brown like that before and NOW I CANNOT UNSEE IT. And it would be so awesome and there should be fic, there REALLY should be fic. And the Doctor's all "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" and Derren-Master is all "Well, I had to earn money somehow!"
