My thoughts exactly. I'm glad I looked up the characters' names before watching it! And Beesley is... impressive, but I'm not sure I needed that in my life :O (of course, I will be a hypocrite and say that seeing John do a slow-motion meatspin would greatly enhance my life).
I should've thought to look up the characters' names -- I spend far too much time confused and then going, "Ohhhhh, it's Glenister's character that had a thing for Marc Warren's character's wife!" like, 20 minutes after this has become obvious to everyone else.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next ep - although sad that I have to wait until Friday to watch it. (cry moar, I know.)
