What serial is this from, or am I just making stuff up in my head again?

Okay, so Three's last words are, of course, "While there's life, there's..." But is there a serial where the Doctor actually says the full phrase? I could've sworn that there is, but I could also be completely making things up again, and google is not being helpful. Anyone know what I'm talking about, here?

random, help!

I don't think the Doctor ever says the full phrase. I can't be sure, but I googled to find a transcript site, and then I googled within the site.

I googled:

"While there's life" site:http://www.chakoteya.net/DoctorWho

And found that in 'The Daemons' and in 'The Tenth Planet' a character says 'While there's life, there's hope'/ 'While there's life, there's still hope.'

in 'Logopolis' the Doctor come close-'Still, while there's life there's six of one and half a dozen of the other. '
MASTER: Woolly thinking, Doctor.
DOCTOR: Yes, but very comforting when worn next to the skin.

ffffffffffff, I re-watched The Daemons not that long ago, so I bet I'm remembering the character that says it in that. Thanks, though!

I was awfully surprised myself! I really thought I'd find that one of the doctors had said it.

Would this site help?

I looked at all of the Three/Sarah stories, and he doesn't seem to mention it there (although I think the transcripts are missing a few episodes).

I think I must have been mis-remembering The Daemons, where the village doctor says it to Jo. *sigh* Oh well. Bookmarked that site, though.

(I was making Servalan gifs and found the scene where she says, "While there's life, there's threat." So I wanted to make a thing for tumblr with both those lines, because, basically, those lines are both those shows condensed down in a nutshell.)
