Jeremy Brett, who was undoubtedly the most beautiful man to have ever lived, died 15 years ago today. I thought, instead of just sitting here and being sad, I would picspam you all with pictures of Brett being gorgeous, which I've saved from various places (mostly tumblr). Because, as I said, most beautiful man to have ever lived.

Ahahah, did you expect anything else of me? Of course, I realised after I posted that there is more Edward Brayshaw than Edward Hardwicke in this picspam, and that actually is kind of wrong. I will have to add some pics with Hardwicke to rectify this.

Wonderful collection of pictures. I looked for some Brett on the TV this evening, and found The Mazarin Stone on ITV3, which ironically has Charles Gray’s Mycroft doing the detecting. And a real mix of a plot.

Oh how I wish The Lost Stradivarius hadn't been trashed. Especially since it had him being haunted by Edward Brayshaw, if the synopsis of the plot I've read is true.

Firstly, WIBBLE, both for the beauty and the burnination of all but the stills of his early Sixties work.

Secondly, Benedict Cumberbatch's resemblance to young!Brett from certain angles really is eerie.

I was so excited to see two previously-missing plays with him on that list of stuff they found at the Library of Congress, I can't even tell you. Now they just need to find the rest of it! Oh, and all the missing Doctor Who as well, while I'm wishing for things.
