Heh. Invasion, War Games and Mind of Evil are just all excellent, story-wise, Sea Devils is just fun, and, well. TIME MONSTER. <3 These are, by far, the serials that I have rewatched more than any others.

I keep rewatching those a lot myself, along with some Gothic Tom stuff (and then Chris Boucher stuff, like Fendahl and Robots of Death). It's all great stuff.

I need to get off my arse and rewatch Inferno now that I've got it on DVD, so gimme a poke if you're up for a co-watch or something:D

Man from U.N.C.L.E. hasn't aired over here since the '60s (its Portuguese title was "Mister Solo") so my only contact with the show so far was from watching a long-feature from a DVD my father ordered from Amazon after getting fed up with waiting. Well, that, and the episode from the A-Team entitled "The Say U.N.C.L.E. Affair" where Robert Vaughn (who joined the A-Team cast in the final season) was reunited with David McCallum.

My mother was fannish about Man from UNCLE when she was a teenager, so growing up I heard a lot about the show, but they weren't repeating it on TV then either, so I never saw any of it. Then last year, shortly after I ordered the DVD set for my mother for her birthday, I saw severa's picspams and was convinced to check it out for myself. Generally, though, I try to do my best to forget that my mother is also a fan of the show.

(I'm loling about it being called Mister Solo in Portuguese. Awww, poor Illya.)

It was just called Napoleon Solo here:). The acronym jokes didn't translate very well, no. *g* Even some of the spinoff paperbacks got translated--some of the Finnish covers can be found here:

I still need to watch more than a couple of episodes of it. Is it sad that if *I* see either of those guys on Hustle or NCIS, I go "hey, it's Napoleon/Ilya"?
