Why do I need to work?

I met last night with the guy running the Purim shpiel this year, so we could talk about writing the narration. (Yes, I volunteered to write the narration. Because I am an idiot, in case you were wondering.) And I was thinking that my main rule for writing the narration is the same as my main rule for writing in this year's Yuletide fandom: Snark.
