Newsarama reports the following from Wonder Con: There are no plans to put a memorial for Stephanie Brown in the Batcave, Didio said, noting that she became Robin out of her own resort, was never accepted into the full role and Bat-family, and died as Spoiler, not as Robin.

The people running DC are welcome to do whatever they want with their property, I suppose...but to then be all whiney that somehow they just can't seem to attract chick readers...they're lucky some of us ever bother to spend money on their product after basically being told "You'll never be allowed to see the inside of the Batcave without being killed or crippled for your presumption...and then forgotten."

Arg. Yes, I can't believe they have the nerve to whine about wanting women to buy comics and then say stupid crap like this. I mean, what would it hurt to give Steph a memorial? Is there a "No Girls Allowed" sign on the Batcave that we didn't know about?
