Ugh. Winter is evil. ::glares at snow falling outside and ice forming on streets::
And the socks...the socks are a good story, actually. A few years ago, I got drafted to take my mother-in-law shoe shopping. (She doesn't drive.) So, Tamar and I tromped through a shoe store or two, ending up in Payless. I walked by the sock display and stopped to admire the awesome Spider-Man socks. So she bought them for me ::giggle::
Honestly, I think she offered because she figured I'd say no, but they're Spider-Man socks! They rock!
Yes, I am a geek. Of course, I don't think I'm shocking anyone with that admission.
But then again, I have socks of various assortments. ^_- Dude, wouldn't it be cool if they had Star Trek socks? I want socks with Borg on them!! "Resistance is Futile" plastered across my feet! Fuckin yeah! *dances* Or Klingons... Although I'd rather my feet not consider ANY day a good day to die. 0_0 Still think it'd be cute to have a bat'leth or something on my socks. Maybe the funky triskelion looking thingy for the Klingon Empire...
Yup, poor Nacho. If he and I can ever make it into the office again, I must do something nice for him. Like, you know, not tease him mercilessly for a day or two.
Tomorrow's commute is shaping up to be even worse. I can say this with confidence because when Avi got home a couple of hours ago, he said it was the iciest he'd ever seen the roads. ::sigh:: It'll only be worse in the morning. I think I see another snow day in my future.
Yeah, I'm seeing another snow day, too. That's going to cause some issues, though. There'll be a stiff letter in the London Times if I ditch another day, let me tell you.
There won't be much joy in Mudville if I ditch today either. ::sigh:: Dunno. I think I'm gonna give it a try. According to the MARC website, they're running a regular schedule. (Ha! And if I believe that one?)
