Feeling much healthier, thank you everyone. I'm down to a residual cough and minor sore throat, as opposed to agonizing pain in my throat. Happily, I've managed to get a fair amount of rest, although I slightly overdid it yesterday, and that's helped my recovery

I can't imagine people who actually interact as family feeling that way. I know my uncle's a little hurt that my second cousin is done with us now that my grandfather's passed. (Dad and Aunt Dot being gramps's stepkids)
