I'm late commenting, but I loved this! Lando's and Mara's view from outside the charmed Solo/Skywalker circle is great, and I hadn't seen the connection you drew between their past circumstances and present "forgiven" state before. I love getting new insights like that! And it was so gracefully written, too.
