Nice little piece of writing! It's been awhile since I've read a light-hearted Luke/Mara story. Those were the days...

I like the part about the boots. I can see Luke being that way, the nice and calm Jedi but with a streak of mischievousness underneath.

Thank you! I thought it was amusing, but wasn't sure anyone else would. :p And I have a theory Luke secretly enjoys annoying Mara, hence the dirty boots.

Thank you! I always wanted to do something with that scene, because Mara didn't seem very Mara-like. Not that she wouldn't be sympathetic, but I think annoyance that he'd managed to get himself into that situation would win out.

That was enjoyable! I haven't read Union (much to my sadness), but even without that, this was a pleasurable read. Nice mixture of Mara's annoyance and her gentler feelings :)
