I'm not surprised. They gave money to these guys, which supported Tim Pawlenty, too, the biggest douche who ever douched (and who is more than likely running for president on the republican ticket in 2012).

However, Target *does* have domestic partnership options as far as insurance and whatnot goes (at least they did when I was working there), which I definitely give them high points for. Most other midwest companies won't do that (like the conservative catholic own Kwik Trip, that I work for--they won't even sell condoms, much less acknowledge that homosexuals exist or deserve equal rights).

And have you heard about how Tom Emmer said that servers make too much money, and should have their minimum wage dropped to 2 dollars an hour because they make "so much money" in tips and it would "help small businesses"? Yeah, fortunately a lot of Minnesotans are already onto his crazy game.

Added to memories. I will pass this to a friend. She refuses to even step a toe into Walmart, but shops at Target at least once a week. It's interesting to see what's up with Target. They have a better image than Walmart. I wonder if that will change.

Well, that's 2 of my (former) favorite stores off the list. I won't be shopping there any more.

Thanks for the info!

Not to be mistaken for chiming in on a political conversation or perspective in any way, however a number of folks on your list above are no longer at Target or in those roles. The only one I want to verify is no longer accurate is Nate Garvis. He is a colleague of mine and is not the Vice President of Government Affairs- that is not current contact information.

Thank you, internet stranger. I have updated it and I appreciate your information. I kind of thought something like that, considering I got a bounce back from his email address.

You've made a few typos on names:

Jodee.Kozlak@target.com should work
Matthew.Zabel@target.com should work

Janet Schalk and Bart Butzer are no longer at Target. Christopher Perrigo is a nobody, don't bother emailing him.

Add the following:
Will.Setliff@target.com - VP of Strategy & Innovation at Target
Beth.Jacob@target.com is the CIO (replaced Schalk)
Tim.Baer@target.com is the head of legal
Terry.Scully@target.com - runs the credit card biz
Troy.Risch@target.com - runs the stores organization (replaced Butzer)
