Saw this floating around & I thought I'd give it a try. Surprisingly, I'm not a King fan despite living within a half hour from his house, and going to a school where he taught. Wow, the house and school thing is cool. Especially since, when I did mine last night, I consistently got a guy who grew up in the state next to mine. I'm almost beginning to think it's a regional effect. Perhaps writers of different regions tend to lean towards a similar writing style amongst their peers? Could make for an interesting case theory if it hasn't been done before (which it probably has, lol).

That would be an interesting theory! Though I don't write like any of my friends; and then you have books like "Lost on a Mountain in Maine" which really isn't horribly similar to SK's books.
