:P The reason there's only 1 crossbowman is that people choose Hunter because they have faster bows and they're like, ZOMGAH, no one is an xbowman.

i'm going to ignore that, until you legally change your name to "Smacksaw"
=P

i think it's because crossbows are inferior. but then... i'm a tad biased.

there is only 1 sniper in the top 5 archers, and he used to be #1 (2 now), beating everyone else by an assload. no one really liked crossbow men. no one knew anything about them or their 3rd job. then they became a major bandwagon class a little while after 3rd job came out. somehow. i still don't see how amazing they are, but sniper sounds a lot better than ranger.

Kn4Vish isn't a sniper, he's a ranger and he hacks at gigs. i've seen him a few times myself. he's just holding a raven xbow cause he found it while hacking at gigs. they drop them, i train there.

Because of ignorant disinformation.

People just say they suck and then reccomend retarded builds where you take DS and people get run over because DS sucks on crossbow and people deign "crossbow sucks" and leave it at that.

And if you try to tell people how to succeed based upon repeatable, real-world results it's an uphill battle that you rarely win.
