Wow, that was actually really interesting. I can guarantee that 99% of my classmates (we're American 11th graders) are not aware of this particular "business practice."
I heard about this, and a friend of mine does it (not with a sweatshop so to speak) he himself just sits at home and plays MMORPGs and sells whatever. He says sometimes he makes an ok amount of money too.
unless he does 14 hour days with nothing but grinding mobs, he isnt farming, i sell stuff all the time and im not a farmer by any stretch of the imagination
Yeah all of my friends are into it, but I can't play it. My right shoulder is screwed from an accident and I don't have any feeling in the last 2 fingers of my right hand, so mouse games are out for me...as are ones that use a numerical keypad.
MS=gamepad. Plus I have to use a laptop.
So that's my WoW thing...I don't have anything against it, I just can't do it.
I've actually had idea about farming mesos, and making it into a living. I mean it's not gonna be me making chinese children play video games, but I mean if I set up 15 or so computers and god knows between me and my 2 friends we have close to 15 computers that we can run maple on. Then I mean I can just set up bots and hacks on 15 different accounts and then open my own business.
I mean I am sure I can make at least 2 mil an hour with my DK which takes about 2 weeks tops to get up to. So, I mean I can pull off about $40 an hour. Plus, unlike a real job, I can work 24 hours a day. Making $960 a day. I can expand with more computers at 1 a day.
Shit, I seriously should start to do this. I love how a f2p game could make me money. I am prolly overshooting and not actually going to make anywhere near what the top expecations are for it, but I mean this isn't costing me anything to do. So it's pure profit.
Ohh, I can find my own. I'm not a total reatard like the other 99% of the hackers out there. I will admit I'm not the best at knowing everything, but I've actually spent the last couple of weeks trying to become more familiar with it.
