Focus or Blessing of the Amazon?

I've maxed out everything on my bowman (a to-be-hunter) except for Blessing of the Amazon and Focus. I've seen people go "eww focus" and "you have to activate it." I've checked at least 6 guides and they all say "go focus" or just simply "pick one." lol. I also read somewhere that bowmen have so much dex that they don't need more accuracy. Is that ( Read more... )

Put it in focus. You'll be glad you did.

You're an archer. You're MADE of DEX. You don't need more accuracy.

So why not get accuracy AND avoidability? Go Focus.

BTW I believe it lasts 5 minutes or so, so you'll see it's not a bother casting it.

Besides, you'll get that accuracy when leveling up Bow Mastery, if you're worried about it anyway.

The avoidability really helps you use less pots since you don't get as many hits, and at King Slime you can see this over your head "Miss, Miss, Miss".

I personally went for focus [maxed it as opposed to Double Shot] and when it's maxed, the extra 20 avoidiblilty and accuracy do make a difference when I'm being stupid and fighting monsters that are far too high levelled. XD Then again, if I have any spare points at the end of 2nd job, I'll put them all into Blessing, perhaps. More accuracy is never a bad thing?

Yes, you'll probably be maxing DS during the second job anyway. :P

I'd go for Focus ^_^ I didn't at first job, and had 9 in DS, and maxed AB, so I had 1 in Focus =x I only started maxing Focus during the last levels of my 2nd job, and it's really great, so many misses! The avoidability really does help, trust me ^_^ If you have spare points at the end of 2nd job, then put it into Blessing. Focus > Blessing :D
