Ugh, I haven't witnessed any of this CC drama myself, but I see people talking about it a lot lately - it's so awful what those women are doing! I need to move my journal to a site that offers more privacy settings...just can't decide which one to choose.

Anyway, I think you are smart to clean out your FL here on LJ every now and then, just to be safe. You deserve to feel comfortable posting personal information, pictures of your kids, etc. in your own journal where you talk to people who are supposed to be your friends!
