I bought the same model motherboard, got it dead on arrival. Got an RMA on it, new one shows up a few weeks later. This one's dead too. The board has decent reviews, but I got two dead in a row - what are the chances? YMMV ( ... )

Gigabyte MB - Not bad. Price is OK for what you get. Seems very up-to-date ( ... )

PS - I was going to combine the video with the monitor but forgot LOL but it's fine. Just make sure there's an HDMI adapter that works with the card. I'm sure there is, but as it stands now monitors and TVs are starting to converge towards the TV end of the spectrum and it's very possible you could be using a HDTV as your next monitor.

I have an NVIDIA 7600 series that bought because it had HDMI built-in and it goes directly into the 1.3 inputs on my receiver and then into my 42" monitor's HDMI. I don't even have any monitors. I just have 3 HDTVs and they all work with my PC.

If this Sceptre really supports 1080p you can use it for watching Blu-Ray or whatever someday. Or HD-DVD right now. You can get an external drive for nothing. My HTPC has the HD-DVD drive from the 360 and my PS3 is the Blu-Ray player. 1080p is pretty dope, especially for PS3 games.

In they end, your computer still won't run Crysis. HAHAHAHA

Rofl!

Did we buy the same 7600?

My on-board graphics card started taking a huge crap all over itself a couple months ago, so I had to buy a relitively cheap graphics card to replace it; got that baby, and I LOVE it.

has a tv-out, and a DVI-I port. (I have no fricken idea what a DVI-I port is for, though. >_>; )

Mine is close, but it's a half-height card as the computer is a slim one. I think that one is better. I don't remember what brand it is...MSI I think

The DVI is cool if you have a HDTV. Lots of newer monitors have DVI inputs.

Nope, no HDTV here. :( Atlest, not that I'm aware of. (And my monitor is a couple years old.)

It's a good think my birth name isn't Daniel.

I think if that Pussy Bandit comment were to be directed at me, I'd be emo. Thank god it wasn't.
