Here's a cool Basil trick for price checks on obscure items:
Let's say your server does not have any of a particular item being sold, so you can't view the current selling price. Set your server preference, then find the item in any menu. Now:
1)Click on the item. 2)Click on "get detailed information about this item". 3)Click "Submit an auction for this item" -- don't worry, you won't actually submit an auction :)
Now you can view the five most recent selling prices for that particular item.
