I soloed a Pianus for the first time, and it was quite an intensive fight. I thought I would share my feelings on the matter, and explain the situation in full for those who might have a passing interest.

Yeah, I find a lot of WKs end up pretty jaded towards their class. It's really no surprise... No offense but WKs are pretty sub-par compared to most other classes right now. You guys do get a pretty nice improvement in 4th job though... Stick with it!

They can't be all bad, the #1 player in Bellocan is a WK :P

For bossing at the moment, we are quite sub-par. However we pwn Saders and DK's training at element weak monsters. There is good with the bad :P

Yeah, on elementally weak things WKs are much better, but it's unfortunate for them that the best EXP monsters right now have no weakness they can currently exploit, at least until they get holy charge.

Lefare will fix that for the lv100+ WKs (if they have ice charge)

Yeah, the first month or two after 4th job the skillbooks are gonna be a pain to buy/get. I'm just gonna hunt for the 1-2 I'll need right off. WK's should get better at zakum though once 4th job is out. Ice and Fire mage's Ice/Fire Demon should give us elemental damage to pap, zakum and horntail.

Wk's are quite the solo class, I've never been fond of parties so this works well with me. However we can become much more party people 4th job because of holy charge and the popularity of skelegon and hime parties.

For a new NX outfit get the Sachiel package. XD

Being a pure 1h WK, hitting pianus is a pain in the arse for me. I either gotta jump of stand on him. So I don't tend to fight him much :x

I'd waited for quite a while, lots and lots of levels, to have enough hp for the left side (3.5k), but every time I've tried, I've failed XD It's hard for a hermit: one wrong move and tombstone D: ... I'll get the silly fish one day; I just hope it's not when I'm 140 or something.

Did you consider PGing Pianus whilst it was Physical Def? Or did they nerf that now?

Oh no, it works just fine. He hits me for about 5k damage, I reflect about 1.5k at him. Problem is... I take way to much damage that way. It is easier to just leave the room for 30 seconds.
